The Les Paul and Mary Ford tribute travels to Wall Township Library in October, and the Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury will host both a classical concert and, as part of the Library’s Comic-Con month, a Star Wars radio play.
The lineup for October:

Marlene will be singing with The Tedd Firth Trio and special guest, Harry Allen.
From the Village Voice, May 9, 2012: At the moment, she’s one of the best singers regularly plying her vocal wares around town, delivering standards in a way that consistently honors the intentions of the composers and lyricists. Going further, VerPlanck’s smarts extend to her taste in instrumentalists, recruiting pianist Tedd Firth and bassist Boots Maleson, both busy day and night with warblers who know a good thing when they hear it.

Cosgrove is accompanied by musical director and pianist Don Rebic, who has played for singers including Peggy Lee, Barbara Cook, Leslie Uggams and Dame Kiri Te Kawana.
Cosgrove has been featured at the Metropolitan Room and in numerous cabarets in New York City. The New York Post described her recent performance as "Absolutely mesmerizing . . . Her unique presence is challenging, intelligent and enormously entertaining.”
