Gov. Chris Christie visited Monmouth County Saturday to discuss a water crisis that has left 22 towns with boil-water advisories and a county with a state of emergency.

Christie stopped by Wolf Hill Recreation Area in Oceanport to discuss the water main break, New Jersey American Water's ongoing efforts to repair it, conservation, and an investigation planned to find out why the water main broke in the first place.

I'm a Little Silver resident and I've noticed that my water is brown and smells a bit funny this a.m. Needless to say I am not running faucets much but wondering if anyone else has noticed this change since restrictions started?

if you ever traveled past the spill area at the reseivoir, you should have noticed that there was extensive damage done from Irene last year. That damage should have been inspected and addressed BEFORE this happened.
