On Sunday, a sellout crowd of approximately 250 people packed into Teak restaurant to help raise money and awareness for detectable cancers. The event, the second annual Go Naked and Check Yourself, featured cocktails, a DJ, finger foods from Flavour restaurants, and a silent auction, among other attractions.

Last year, Chris Paseka, co-owner of Sugarush and Go Naked organizer along with Angie Courtney of Sweetest Sin lingerie, said the event raised nearly $9,000, which was donated to the American Cancer Society. This year, Paseka said he hoped to increase that total by as much as 50 percent.

The Go Naked theme was conceived as a way to draw attention to the need to be proactive when it comes to your personal health. Detectable cancers like breast cancer, testicular cancer, skin cancer and others are more treatable if discovered early. This year, money raised at Go Naked will benefit the Young Survivors Coalition, Livestrong, the American Cancer Society, and Move for Hunger, which was added in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Donation totals will be revealed later this week.

Patch was on hand to take some photos of the event. Check out the gallery above for some sights from the second annual Go Naked and Check Yourself.
