MLK Closings in Shrewsbury on Monday
Shrewsbury Borough School students will be in school.
Having a hard time remembering what's closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday?
Borough offices will be closed Jan. 21 in observance of the federal holiday as will the post office on Broad Street.
Red Bank Regional students will also enjoy the day off.
Shrewsbury Borough School students, however, have a full day of school after a calendar revision in December that added days back to the school year to compensate for time loss following Hurricane Sandy.
With the addition of Martin Luther King Day on the schedule, the children will not have any days off until Friday, Feb. 15, which is a staff professional day. They then will return the following Monday, Presidents Day.
