This list reminds me of all the places I still need to go. I do like Gaetano's homemade pasta, but Tommy's focaccia sandwiches are amazing.

Buona Sera has a nice atmosphere but as far as food they need to learn how to cook Italian. The worst sauce in the new world and the prices are too high. Just lucky the location is so good otherwise the place would be empty if those who eat here knew good italian cookling.

I agree, Bueno Sera is very much over rated. They have a good location, close to the theatre and parking. That's about it.

Pazzo's lunch sliders are amazing - you get 3 beef, meatball or veggie sliders or any combo you want. Yum.

Seems a little unfair to compare casual pizza joints like Mr. Pizza Slice to much more formal restaurants like Pazzo. Maybe two categories would've been better? I know, I know, some of them would be in-between...

True, and something to consider. It seems as though listing restaurants can be as subjective as picking which one is your favorite.

Why is Angelina's a choice when it is not in Red Bank or Shrewsbury but in Sea Bright

Basil T's is like home when you are a member of the mug club. The bartenders will quickly learn your name and are always friendly and generous with thier pours. The broccoli rabe is the best I've ever tasted. Try it in the chicken and broccoli rabe sandwich too.
