Pho Le Opens in Red Bank

The Vietnamese restaurant on Broad Street opens this afternoon.

This is something we’ve been excited for since the sign with the picture of a bowl, chopsticks and rising steam first went up in the storefront window a couple of months ago. Phole Vietnamese Cuisine is opening on 90 Broad Street in Red Bank today.

Late Thursday night, Jan, who owns the restaurant along with his wife Lori, was taking pictures of the outside of his shop, presumably for restaurant’s website, which has a multitude of pictures and videos posted on it. Despite not being open yet, Jan welcomed us in to take a look at the place and to grab a menu.

Suffice it to say, we’re excited.

The menu includes a wide assortment of traditional Vietnamese food items, including, obviously, Pho, which is a noodle soup available in a wide assortment of varieties, depending on what you’re in the mood for. The menu has also got a number of other options including noodle bowls, rice dishes, and Banh Mi, which are sandwiches filled with a everything from pate’ to shredded pork.

It all looks delicious – we’ll amend that to 'tastes delicious' once we know for sure.
