Red Bank Man Indicted for Receiving a Stolen Motorcycle

The incident allegedly took place in May in Long Branch.

 

A Red Bank man was indicted my a Monmouth County Grand Jury recently on charges he committed motorcycle theft in Long Branch.

According to the grand jury's findings, Jose Perez of the first block of Locust Avenue, committed the act of theft by knowingly receiving, or bringing into the state, a motorcycle belonging to someone identified only as R.V. in court documents and knowing that it had been stolen or had likely been stolen.

The incident allegedly took place on May 24.

The 26 year old was indicted for receiving stolen property, a third degree offense.
