Red Bank Police Arrest 3 on Cocaine Charges
Ocean Township man and Eatontown residents to make first appearances in court Thursday
Three Monmouth County men will make their first appearance in Municipal Court Thursday morning after being accused of attempting to deal cocaine in Red Bank.
Borough police arrested Aslin Colin, 25, of Ocean Township, Anderson Edouard, 21, and Daevon LeGrand, 20, both of Eatontown, on Tuesday on charges of possession, possession with intent to distribute and more.
Colin, Edouard and LeGrand were arrested just before 5 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Rector Place and North Bridge Avenue after both were found with cocaine as well as a digital scale, police said.
Colin attempted to hinder his apprehension by providing the arresting officer with a false name, police said, while Edouard allegedly obstructed the administration of law by grabbing the arm of the officer as he attempted to retrieve the suspected cocaine. LeGrand also was charged with hindering his own apprehension after giving the officer a false name and date of birth, police said.
The men are being held in lieu of $20,500 bail each.
