Ok ... The tree lighting is one month before Christmas and the Menorah lighting is 5 days after Chanukah. Sup with that?

I don't understand why they have a tiny Christmas tree in front of a restaurant on a side street (don't blink or you'll miss it!) when we have TWO parks right on the river that we could have it in. Isn't it time to have a proper Christmas tree in a place that better represents the town and that people can see and enjoy?
