A Red Bank woman is accused of stabbing and biting her daughter during an altercation in Neptune Township.

A 53-year-old Locust Avenue woman was arrested Dec. 27 after Neptune police said she bit her daughter on the hand and stabbed her in the face with a set of car keys.

Neptune police said the victim sustained injury to her hand and cuts to her face and eyes. She had to seek medical attention, according to court documents.

The Red Bank woman was initially held on $50,000 bail, with a 10 percent option. 

She is scheduled to make her first appearance in court Jan. 10.
