Shrewsbury Remembers 9/11
Firefighters, Police,EMS workers and members of the community gathered to honor and remember those who were lost 10 years ago
It is a day forever imprinted inthe hearts and minds of Americans—Sept. 11th, 2001. No matter how many years pass, it will undoubtedly bring heaviness to the hearts of many Americans, and countless tears to their eyes.
On Sunday, Sept. 11, numerous cities and towns in New Jersey prepared memorials where members of the community gathered to pay their individual respects to those who lost their lives ten years ago in one of the most horrifying displays of terrorism on American soil.
In Shrewsbury, fighter fighters, police officers, EMS workers and members of the community who were affected by the tragedy gathered on Sunday morning to lay flowers on the 9/11 memorial at the Borough Hall Municipal Complex.
The memorial remembers the two Shrewsbury residents who died on 9/11: Robert Talhami and Sal Tieri, Jr.
