Wednesday's Olympic TV Schedule

Equestrian, Water Polo, more Track & Field and more today

Another packed day of competitions, with the start of men's BMX cycling kicking off today. Also the gold medal will be awarded in Women's Beach Volleyball, as well as a handful of gold medals in kyaking. Men's 110m hurdles will run for medals and Women's platform diving (super scary!) gets underway.

For the full schedule of events, see the London 2012 official site. As always the NBC Olympic site will be streaming all events live as they happen and the NBC networks will carry various portions throughout the length of the games.

12:35A - 1:35A NBC Late Night

Men will take center stage with finals in Track & Field (discus throw), Gymnastics (parllel bars) and springboard Diving.

    1:35A - 5:00A NBC PT Repeat

Finals in Gymnastics and Track & Field, plus a U.S. women's Beach Volleyball semifinal featuring Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings against the team of Zhang/Xue from China.

      10:00A - 10:45A Equestrian

The United States hasn't won gold in individual jumping since 1984, but has Chris Kappler won silver in 2004 and Beezie Madden took bronze four years ago in Beijing.

        10:45A - 11:00A Track & Field

Qualifying heats in several events, including the men’s 5000m. That event should pit Somalian-born Londoner Mo Farah against Bernard Lagat, the Kenyan-born U.S. record holder who beat Lagat for the 2011 world crown.

          11:00A - 12:45P Men's Volleyball

Seeking to win back-to-back Olympic golds in men’s Volleyball, Team USA begins knockout-round play against Italy, which won three of five opening-round matches and is looking to earn its first medal since a silver in 2004.

            12:45P - 1:15P Canoe/Kayak

            Four gold-medal races at Lee Valley will be contested: the men’s K-1 1000m and K-2 1000m, the men’s C-1 1000m, and women’s K-4 500m.

              1:15P - 2:00P Track & Field

Qualifying rounds in Track & Field, including the men's Pole Vault and 5000m, and the women's 800m.

                2:00P - 3:00P Beach Volleyball

The bronze-medal match in women's Beach Volleyball.

                  3:00P - 4:00P Men's Water Polo

Team USA’s bid for its first men’s Water Polo gold medal in 108 years has a tough start in the elimination round, as Croatia has allowed just 29 goals while going 5-0. The US won its first three games before dropping two to Serbia and three-time reigning gold medalist Hungary.

                    4:00P - 4:30P Cycling

                    Men's BMX qualifying.

                      4:30P - 5:00P Track & Field

The 400m race in the men's Decathlon.

                        8:00P - 11:05P NBC Primetime

Gold is determined on the beach (women's final) and track (men's 110m hurdles). Plus, women's platform Diving.
