RBR Organizing Collection for Storm Victims at Salvation Army

On Sunday, Nov. 4 and Monday, Nov. 5, Red Bank Regional (RBR) is organizing a community relief effort for people in our area who are most affected by the hurricane at the Salvation Army at 180 Newman Springs Rd.
in Red Bank.  We are seeking donations of non-perishable food, snacks, water, toiletries, new and gently used clothing and blankets from 2 to 5:30 pm on Sunday and 10 am to 4 pm on Monday. We are also seeking volunteers to join us in this effort. Volunteers should also bring bags or boxes for sorting.

While the school survived the storm well, we are still out of power and will be closed on Monday, Nov. 5, and will evaluate reopening on a day-by-day basis.

Relief items have already began to come in, for which we are most grateful. In assessing the donations, the following are among the most needed items:
NEW socks and underwear, thermals, pjs, sweats, sheets, towels and blankets, coats but especially men's coats, boots of all types and sizes,
household cleaners, bleach, mops, garbage bags large and strong, dust masks,
toiletries, non-perishable food items and water, plastic storage totes

We thank you for your support in this time of dire need.
