Music from E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Rodgers’ “The Carousel Waltz” and the shipboard hijinks of Gilbert and Sullivan’s resoundingly popular H. M. S. Pinafore mingle with patriotic favorites and a salute to our Armed Forces. The orchestra conductor is Emil de Cou.
A trio of vocalists from Opera New Jersey joins the NJSO. They are: Channing Connell, soprano; Leah Dexter, mezzo-soprano; Jeremy Moore, baritone.
This concert is presented by the Garden State Arts Foundation as part of the Foundation's continued outreach program and its commitment to the residents of New Jersey to provide cultural experiences to all.
