New Jersey is a hub for human trafficking. There are between 12 million and 27 million human trafficking victims worldwide. These victims are women and men, children and adults, American citizens and people born in other countries, all forced into modern day slavery.

Join the League of Women Voters of Monmouth County (ILO) and the League of Women Voters of New Jersey for an informational forum on human trafficking. Learn more about this horrible crime and the steps that can be taken to stop it. Speakers include Dorchen Leidholdt, Sanctuary for Families and a human trafficking survivor.
