 nWest Long Branch\, NJ - &nbsp\;The String Studio of Monmouth County is 
 pleased to announce that its founder and director\, violist Kimberly Fos
 ter Wallace\, will perform with members of the Simon String Quartet and 
 other colleagues in a series of free classical music concerts which make
  up a part of the Summer String-In program at Monmouth University this w
 eek.&nbsp\;\nThe Summer String-In program and concerts take place on the
  campus of Monmouth University\, and is an intense performance workshop 
 for adult amateur string players\, now in its seventh year.&nbsp\; &nbsp
 \;\nFoster-Wallace\, who founded The String Studio of Monmouth\, a commu
 nity music school in Oceanport\, NJ\, has performed with the Minnesota O
 rchestra and the Albany Symphony Orchestra\, completed a fellowship at t
 he Tanglewood Music Center\, and has toured Japan and Russia. A dedicate
 d chamber musician\, she performs as guest artist with the American and 
 Elysium Chamber Ensembles\, and the Alaria Chamber Ensemble at Carnegie 
 Hall. &nbsp\;The Simon String Quartet is led by violinist Fiona Simon\, 
 a member of the New York Philharmonic.&nbsp\; Its members include violis
 t Lisa Sulowicz\, cellist David Bakamjian\, and violinist Sebu Sirinian.
 &nbsp\; Together with harpsichordist Rebecca Pechefsky and cellist Josep
 h Kimura they comprise the program&rsquo\;s faculty.\nThe program includ
 es a free concert three nights this week.&nbsp\;\nOn Wednesday\, August 
 1 at 8 p.m. members of the group will perform works by Luigi Boccherini\
 ; the passionate String Sextet from Richard Strauss&rsquo\; opera &ldquo
 \;Capriccio\; and the Sextet in G Major by Johannes Brahms.\nOn Thursday
 \, August 2 at 8 p.m.\, the Simon Quartet will perform Cherubini&rsquo\;
 s Quartet in D Minor\, Villa-Lobos&rsquo\;s Quartet No.6\, and Dvorak&rs
 quo\;s&nbsp\;fourteenth and final Quartet in A-Flat Major\, Opus 105.\nT
 he Friday\, August 3\, concert\, starting earlier at 5 p.m. will feature
  harpsichordist Rebecca Pechefsky performing Baroque masterpieces by Bac
 h\, Vivaldi\, and Telemann.\nAll performances are free and open to the p
 ublic\, and take place in Wilson Auditorium in Wilson Hall on the campus
  of Monmouth University.
