A Bone Marrow Donor Drive for 6-year-old Logan James Parker of Ocean Township will take place on Saturday, December 1 at Teak Restaurant, Monmouth Street, Red Bank from 11 am – 3 pm and on Tuesday, December 4 at Double Take Consignment Boutique, Broad Street, Red Bank from 1 – 5 pm.

Logan was diagnosed in 2010 with a rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and received a close-match stem cell transplant in February 2011. Two months ago he was diagnosed with a relapse. His doctors now say he must have another transplant to save his life, this time with a perfect-match donor. To date, no potential donors have been found despite a worldwide search of donor registries.
