There will be a 50/ 50 raffle and opportunities to win NHL memorabilia and other prizes.\nDo wd was born and raised in Brick\, NJ and played for Brick High School&rs quo\;s hockey team\, where he broke the national scholastic scoring reco rd. He played for the NJ Devils for six of the 17 seasons of his NHL car eer\, including the 1994-95 season when the Devils won the Stanley Cup.\ n&ldquo\;I love the game of hockey\, and this is a great way to give bac k\,&rdquo\; Mr. Dowd said.\nDowd and his wife\, Lisa\, started the Shoot for the Stars Foundation 18 years ago to help a young Brick Township r esident who was critically ill. The All-Star Game began three years late r and has supported various area charities ever since.
