Around the towns …

• Well, unofficial election results are in and Republican Cindy Burnham and incumbent Kathleen Horgan have won the two seats on Red Bank Borough Council. Incumbent Sharon Lee lost her bid for a third term as did newcomer Republican Sean DiSomma. Check out our story and look for a video later today. And take a look at the rest of the election coverage.

• Red Bank Borough Council meets tonight at 6:30 p.m.

• The Monmouth County Regional Health Commission is holding its rabies vaccination clinic next door at the Fair Haven Firehouse tonight from 7 to 8 p.m.

• The sun will shine today with the National Weather Service forecasting high temperatures in the high 50s.

The lunar phase is a Waxing Crescent. Today we will have 10 hours and 13 minutes of sun. The solar transit will be at 11:40 a.m. and the length of time the moon will be visible will be 14 hours and 15 minutes."
