Holiday Crafts, Music & Reggae

It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area on Wednesday.

Happy Wednesday, friends and fans!

OK, the weather outside is, well, not that frightful. Yet, it's supposed to be very cold today and tomorrow. Bundle up!

There are a few things going on in the area to check out.

Around the towns today …

• Across the river in Middletown, there's a live Advent Calendar at the Middletown Arts Center event tonight.

Each day's event is a surprise, ranging from crafts, musical performances, dance demonstrations and free lessons, according to MAC organizers.

Stop by the MAC, on Church Street next to the Middletown Train Station at 6:30 p.m. to discover Wednesday's program, which is slated to conclude between 7 and 7:30 p.m.

The MAC's live Advent Calendar, which began on Dec. 1, runs through Dec. 24.

• For a little Reggae, Random Test is at Jamian's in Red Bank.

Weather, sun, moon and tides …

• Well, the weather is a bit warmer than predicted, but it's still supposed to be pretty darn cold, warming toward the end of the week.

We'll be bringing you some news, feature and business updates.
