Java, Sun, Fair Start the Weekend

Well, Friday is here and so is the start of a long holiday weekend, friends and fans!

Those thunderstorms somehow never arrived. Let's not jinx that. Today is expected to be party sunny with a high temperature of 80 degrees. Then, those storms start threatening again on Sunday and into Labor Day. Ugh. Well, ya never know with that volatile weather troll.

Anyway, there will certainly be enough sun for some water fun, so here's the tide table for Sea Bright through the weekend:

Oh, and if you're in the area, be sure to stop at the new Booskerdoo next door in Fair Haven today. Why? Well, first of all, they really do have good coffee.

Secondly, you won't want to miss the free 10 oz. cup of drip coffee they're giving away today to customers to commemorate the opening of the Fair Haven shop.

Booskerdoo coffee roasts daily from its café in Monmouth Beach, never selling any beans past its one week flavor peak, “Great coffee should never sit in a warehouse, which is why we don’t use one,” says Roastmaster James.

So, get on over to Booskerdoo. Perhaps a little drop-by is in order for Patch, too.

The Fair Haven Firemen's Fair continues through Saturday night. Gaetano's has a new menu and Sugarush has a special schedule for the weekend.
