It's what's going on in the Red Bank-Shrewsbury area on Thursday.

Well, good morning friends and fans! And a good weather morning it is and is slated to be for a few days now.

Take that, weather troll. No more thunderstorm threats this week. It's supposed to be clear, dry and sunny with temperatures reaching a high of 79 degrees.

It is truly local summertime and the living is just what the local ordered by the beach. Check out our photo gallery of local summer in Sea Bright.

Don't forget that Jazz Night is tonight at Riverside Gardens Park and features none other than the Nick Clemons Band! Of course, Nick is the oldest son of Springsteen E-Street Band sax player, Clarence Clemons. The band is touted to bring "a high-energy mix of funk, soul, jazz, and R&B with an edge," according to a Red Bank release. Be there or be ... well, lose out.

And, Be sure to weigh in with your memories of Mr. Pizza Slice under the ownership of Steve Napolitani, who has just retired. And we'll have

Let us know if we've forgotten anything. In the meantime, I'll see you around the towns ...
