Four RBC Students Awarded Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Grants

The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore held their Annual Brother Peter Mannion Grant Awards Dinner on May 28th at Doolan’s Shore Center where they presented college grants to area high school seniors.  

Selected among approximately 400 applicants this year were four Red Bank Catholic students: Meghan Swan of Freehold, Bernadette Hogan of Rumson, Meredith Sheehan of Red Bank and Molly McHugh of Rumson.  

The grants are awarded to students of Irish heritage who demonstrate academic excellence and community involvement.  Through fundraisers held throughout the year, the organization raised $40,000 towards college tuition grants.
