Artist Jimmy Leslie to Celebrate Opening Reception of Location! Location! Location! at Salon Concrete

As the Two River region bustles with summer anticipation, two best-in-class art material brands Liquitex and Winsor & Newton today announce their support of resident artist Jimmy Leslie in his much-anticipated “Location! Location! Location!” exhibit at Salon Concrete in Red Bank.  Kicking off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 at the Broad Street salon, the opening reception will offer attendees the opportunity to view Leslie’s iconic landscape paintings while enjoying  a display of cheese from The Cheese Cave that features a variety of textures and flavors of a few of their best-selling selections.  Aligned with Liquitex and Winsor & Newton’s community-driven mission, ten percent of proceeds from Leslie’s work will be donated to Hometown Heroes, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports local communities in times of crisis. Earlier in May, the organization’s Toms River, New Jersey office, which is known for leading the Restore the Shore Hurricane Sandy Relief campaign, was destroyed by a three-alarm fire.

“In today’s fast-paced society, it is imperative as professional artists that we create opportunities to showcase our work.  In collaboration with Liquitex, Winsor & Newton and Salon Concrete, I have utilized a grassroots opportunity to showcase ‘Location! Location! Location!.’   Focused on supporting the arts and local community, Salon Concrete has demonstrated ongoing support of Hometown Heroes through past art exhibitions. Together, our efforts will help strengthen Red Bank’s mark as an arts destination and continue to raise awareness for the mission and needs of Hometown Heroes as it continues to rebuild its Toms River office,” commented Jimmy Leslie, resident artist of Liquitex and Winsor & Newton and director of The Fine Art Collective.
