Barnabas Health Medical Group Welcomes Addition of Dr. Tithi Mitra

Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Mitra Accepting New Patients at Toms River and Whiting Offices

Barnabas Health Medical Group recently announced the addition of Tithi Mitra, MD, a board-certified internal medicine physician, to its network of primary care physicians. Dr. Mitra is affiliated with Community Medical Center and is available to see patients at offices in Toms River and Whiting, N.J.

Prior to joining Barnabas Health Medical Group, Dr. Mitra served as a primary care physician at a multispecialty group practice in the Hudson Valley, N.Y., area, where she worked in urgent care, nursing home and hospital settings providing care for acute and chronic conditions as well as preventative and follow-up care.

Dr. Mitra earned a medical degree from Medical College in Calcutta, India. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J. Dr. Mitra is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Molecular and Cellular Cognition Society, the American Stroke Association and the American Heart Association. She holds certifications in Infection Control Practices and Barrier Precautions as well as Identification & Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment.
