Kids Cooking Class at Lunch Break

A 2013 Graduating Class
A 2013 Graduating Class

Look who’s cooking at Lunch Break...Monmouth County's oldest and largest soup kitchen, and more, in Red Bank.

Are your kids between the ages of 5-12?  Would they like to learn how to cook?  Would they like to help serve their community?  (All meals prepared by students are then served the following day at Lunch Break.)  Would they like to earn a cooking badge for Girls Scouts or Boy Scouts? This is a great way to do it!

Students learn about kitchen safety,  sanitation,  cooking methods, knife skills,  proper measurements and kitchen tool identification. Class size is limited!  Registration is required!  SO HURRY!  Classes are held on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm at Lunch Break, 121 Drs James Parker Blvd., in Red Bank.

If you want to register your kids or if you have questions or want more information,  please contact Sharda Jetwani at 732.784.7360 or sjetwani@lunchbreak.org

Classes are FREE, however, non-perishable items for the Food Pantry are always welcome.
