The Community YMCA Introduces Safe Sitter Course, August 5th

The Community YMCA is expanding our efforts to nurture adolescents and support safety of children with our new Safe Sitter program.  Our Family Health and Wellness Center in Red Bank is a Registered Safe Sitter Teaching Site.  Safe Sitter is a comprehensive babysitting training program for adolescents ages 11-14.

Nationally, the Safe Sitter program has graduated over 600,000 teens who are able to stay home alone safely and handle emergencies when caring for younger children.

The course is offered Monday, August 5, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Participants are asked to bring two snacks and a lunch.
