6. “Read the questions in the reading comprehension portion before reading the selected text. That way you can underline key passages and know what portions of the text are necessary to answer the questions correctly.” – Alyssa Morreale, English teacher, Trinity Hall

7. “Be careful when you’re filling in your answer sheet. Make sure that the number of the question you’re answering in your test booklet is the same as the number you’re filling in on your answer sheet. Keep a piece of paper over your answer sheet and move it down as you go to help you stay on track.” - Melissa Fairchild, Spanish teacher, Trinity Hall

8. “Incorrect answers don’t count against you, so you can always guess at any answers you are unsure of. Remember, an educated guess is better than no guess at all.” – “HSPT Study Guide” by Study Guide Zone

9.     “Breathe. Relax. And pray.” – Melissa Whelan, theology teacher, Trinity Hall

10. “Don’t cheat. First of all, it’s wrong. Secondly, you don’t want to misrepresent what you actually know.” – Kevin Polke, mathematics teacher, Trinity Hall
