Workshop for Parents of At-Risk Children Offered in September

Atlantis Centers, Inc. will host a six-week workshop program to help parents of at-risk children to create an optimal learning environment for their children.  Children at-risk include those with speech and language problems, anxiety or mood disorders, and attention or hyperactivity disorders.  It also includes children with gross or fine motor physical delays or impairments, learning disorders such as dyslexia, sensory processing dysfunctions, and all children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

The Workshop takes place at Atlantis Centers Tinton Falls location throughout the year in six-week intervals and is designed for children up to 18 years old.  Sessions are customized based on the specific needs of each workshop participant.  This will include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, language, math, art, music and movement.

“At Atlantis Centers, we have a team of dedicated experts who work together to help parents promote a holistic, healthy home atmosphere where their at-risk children can thrive,” said Atlantis Centers co-founder Hanan Ayoub Fadil, M.D., MPH, Occupational and Environmental Health Specialist and certified Montessori leader.  “Our research shows us that a green and natural lifestyle can have tremendous benefit for all, but especially for those at-risk.  We screen, support and customize programs for at-risk children with a variety of suspected learning difficulties and disorders.  Our goal is to help each parent help their children develop to their highest capabilities.”
