Last Chance: Red Bank Car Cruise

The car cruise through downtown returns to Red Bank tonight. Come check out all of the hot rides.

It's that time of the year, when classic beauties show up downtown, some even with their tops off, for your viewing pleasure.

We're talking cars here, of course.

The Red Bank Car Cruise returns tonight with dozens of participating car owners parking their rides on Broad, Monmouth and White Streets in a throwback to a mid-20th century staple in which the best way to spend your night was showing off your car and being James Dean-cool.

And, it's all for a good cause, donations made during the event will go to help a local 5-year-old who is battling cancer for a second time. The cruise is being held between 5 and 9 p.m. tonight downtown. Stroll on by to get in on the action.

The cars, combined with the the charity component, will make this event as successful as last year, Red Bank RiverCenter said in a release.
