Lighting Up the Holidays with Decoration Prizes in Red Bank

There's still a chance for Red Bank residents to light up their holidays with the prospect of earning a "best decorated house" distinction and winning some prizes in the mix.

Today, Friday, is the last day to register for Red Bank's fifth annual "Let's Light Up Red Bank" decorating contest, Councilwoman Juanita Lewis reminded all at Wednesday's council meeting.

And Friday is also the night on which the judging take place, with the results announced on Jan. 8 at the council meeting.

All residents need to do to register is to send an email to recreation@redbank or just stop by the borough's Parks and Recreation office in the municipal complex at 90 Monmouth Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The prizes will come from participating Red Bank businesses.
