Red Bank Borough Offices, Business Closure Update; Snow Advisory in Effect

Borough offices closed as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday


Red Bank officials have announced via the borough website that municipal offices were closed as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Red Bank Flavour announced on Tuesday the early closings of restaurants and eateries on its Facebook page.

Red Bank officials advise the usual storm protocol, as with the last storm, as follows:

"The Borough is asking all residents to remove all vehicles from borough streets from midnight to 6am to facilitate snow plowing. 

Power outages are possible and should be reported to JCP&L by calling 1-888-LIGHTSS. All outages should be reported as the more outages that are reported in an area help prioritize the response.

The Fire Marshal’s Office reminds everyone to never leave candles unattended and to use caution if using a generator. Please review the attached document for generator safety tips:  Generator Safety Tips.

The Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department is asking all residents to assist with clearing fire hydrants as you are shoveling your property. This will help them gain access quickly should they need to respond to a call in your area."
