HEADS UP: An Art Exhibition Speaking Out Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault

Gallery U has joined with 180 Turning Lives Around to present “Heads Up,” a very special exhibition that brings awareness to and speaks out against domestic violence and sexual assault.

On display is the art of survivors alongside that of professional and novice artists who support 180’s mission of ending the cycle of domestic violence and sexual assault. This exhibition was open to all residents of Monmouth County. Participants utilized a styrofoam head to create works of art that bring awareness to the issue by putting a face on it and speaking out.

Opening reception Friday, October 19, 2012 from 6-9PM. This event is free and open to the public. Artwork will be on exhibition until October 24, 2012.
