Flavour Teams Up with Lunch Break

The local restaurant network chooses Lunch Break as its official charity choice.

Red Bank's culinary alliance, Flavour, has chosen local soup kitchen Lunch Break as its official charity beneficiary, the group announced Thursday.

The partnership kicks off this spring and summer with a new campaign called "Give Some Flavour, Get Some Flavour," a mutually beneficial promotion that encourages diners to eat at some of Red Bank's favorite restaurants on Monday night by promising a portion of the evening's dinner sales will be donated to the non-profit organization.

"As an alliance of culinary professionals, we feel that Lunch Break is the perfect organization for Red Bank Flavour to work with on an on-going basis,” Valerie Aufiero, owner of the Front Street Trattoria, said in a prepared statement. "With such a diverse restaurant community in Red Bank, our combined efforts can really make an impact. We all feel we have the resources to help support Lunch Break’s community-based mission."
