Community Update

They ruined my dress. I brought a simple A line cotton strapless dress in to be altered.first the seamstress claimed it was a complicated alteration, then she said the fabric was too delicate. She took in only the very top edge causing weird ripples in the bust.She yelled at me and said she didn't do it and often gets blamed for bad alterations. She have me a hard time about fixing it but did.The lumps are less noticeable but are still there. It took weeks to get it back and both times despite being asked not to they secured it to the hanger not by the provided straps but with giant safety pins creating numerous dark holes.The clerk said "it's not my fault, I'm only part time" between the crappy alteration and the holes the dress is unwearable for my event. I now look 10lb heavier because the waist is too large throwing off the proportions of the dress. The owner will be hearing about her rude, uncooperative staff when I return from my honeymoon.
