A Taste of Red Bank Flavour at the Molly

The Red Bank restaurant organization, partnered with RiverCenter, kicked off the season

Red Bank's Flavour Kicked off Memorial Day weekend with its Party on the Promenade at the Molly Pitcher Inn Thursday night.

The event, which was the organization's second of the year, featured the specialties of 20 downtown restaurants and eateries, with the proceeds to benefit Monmouth County parks suffering the effects of Hurricane Sandy via the non-profit Monmouth County Friends of the Parks organization.

Hundreds gathered on the balmy night to get a taste of Red Bank cuisine and party for the cause.

Red Bank Mayor Pat Menna made an appearance to show his support, too. "I arrived late, but I wanted to make sure I stopped in and it looks like it was a great night," he said. "I know we had hundreds of tickets sold in advance and the evening was a success."
