Nature's Emporium in Fair Haven is cooking up unique calorie-free breakfast with a pickle on the side and more.

If you’re having a hankering for some calorie-free breakfast with a melodiously tasty pickle on the side, you need to follow your shopping nose to in Fair Haven, just a stone's throw from Red Bank and Shrewsbury.

There the guilt-free goodies are all cooked up, boxed and ready to be brought home. Yes, Priscilla Bahr, , has the goods. She guarantees that she can serve up some coffee with waffles and bacon with no caloric price to pay.

How? All you have to do is open a small plastic container and take a … flossing. That’s right, a flossing, as in dental floss.

Bahr has some strange items in her unique boutique that has been in Fair Haven’s business district since the birth of … well, disco balls in the 1970s.  

And the floss is just one of the odd items she now has featured by her register. We’ll get to the pickle side soon.

The floss package has four actual floss-sized containers, each labeled with a different breakfast food.

So, you can skip the breakfast and floss to get the flavor, she quipped.

As for that side of pickle. Well, you really have to be in tune with freakish food develop a pregnancy-like craving for this one. You can’t take a bite, but it may just sing your song … if you like yodeling, that is.

Yes, the pickle yodels — “Yodel aaa hee hoo” yodeling, like in the Swiss Alps.

It’s a show-stopper. Well, it literally could be a show-stopper if it’s in your purse and its yodeling button gets hit by your errant mascara during an opera performance — or something disastrous like that.

It really doesn’t stop with breakfast floss and a yodeling pickle when it comes to what’s cookin’ at Nature’s Emporium.

There’s also a little wind-up Nunzilla who can trek across tables and spit fire. There are some bacon strip adhesive bandages (again, with the food), sensored birds that chirp, fortune-telling fish, buttons and refrigerator magnets galore, as well as interesting cards and books and jewelry and clothing and … well, just go take a look.
