Black Friday Deals at Monmouth Mall

While some view Black Friday as an exercise in capitalism gone haywire, others see it as an opportunity burn off some of the butter-laden calories consumed earlier in the day.

The Monmouth Mall in Eatontown provides a forum for working off those mashed potatoes and getting a jump start on holiday shopping with sales galore beginning as early as Thursday morning.

The following is a listing of deals to be had this year, according the mall's Web site.

• Bath and Body Works: Opens at midnight on Black Friday and offers exclusive VIP Bag (while supplies last) and Black Friday specials!
• The Children's Place: Black Friday shoppers will get 30 percent off everything in the store before 2 p.m.
• Hallmark Store: Black Friday is the start of a three-day sale (Friday through Sunday). Shoppers get 25 percent off all items before noon on Friday and 20 percent off Friday afternoon through Sunday. All purchases of the $2.99 Norman's Jingle Bell benefits the Salvation Army.
• : Lots of Black Friday offers including $5 dresses and sweaters, $10 pants and $20 on outerwear. Scratch offs go to the first 100 people in line valued up to $300.
• JCPenney: Over 500 Black Friday deals, which start in store at 4 a.m. Friday, to be found on their Web site. Help someone in need while you shop this Black Friday. It’s easy — just check-in on Foursquare at JCPenney Monmouth Mall from 4 AM to 1 PM and JCPenney will donate $25 to The Salvation Army, up to $100,000.
• JCPenney Portrait Studio: Will offer its Black Friday Doorbuster -- Full session CD only $49.99 (reg. $149.99). Valid one day only (Friday, Nov. 25), in studio, Black Friday and no refunds on CDs.
• Jewelry Exchange: Early shoppers will be rewarded an extra 20% off already reduced 14K gold and diamond jewelry between the hours of 5 AM to noon. Check out their large selection of Swarovski crystal jewelry and the newest crystal figurines, including Disney favorites such as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. Miss Kitty is there, too!
• Black Friday shoppers get 20 percent store-wide savings pass. Doors open early Friday and Saturday. Text SALE to 95555 to get savings offer on your phone. (Message/data rates may apply)
