Red Bank Food & Wine Walk Returns for the Summer

 

Red Bank, NJ- This Sunday, May 20 begins the Red Bank Food & Wine Walk sponsored by Red Bank RiverCenter.  The third Sunday of every month this summer May 20, June 17, July 15, and August 19 offers people a chance to enjoy a culinary experience like no other.

 For $25 guests receive a wristband that allows them to go to the participating businesses to sample food and/or wine.  Tickets can be purchased the day of each Food & Wine Walk at Danny’s Grill and Wine Bar, Jamian’s, Taste, Melting Pot, Pazzo, red, Teak, The Downtown and Tommy’s Coal Fired Pizza.

“Red Bank RiverCenter started the Food & Wine Walk in the summer of 2010,” explains Nancy Adams, RiverCenter’s Executive Director. “The event proved to be a great way for people to finish their summer weekend strolling Red Bank’s historic downtown and sampling the foods and drink of our great restaurants.”

 

Venues participating in the Red Bank Food and Wine Walk include:  Cupcake Magician, Danny’s Grill & Wine Bar, Dish, Front St. Trattoria, Gaetano’s, La Pastaria, Melting Pot, New Corner Italian Restaurant, Pazzo, Readies Café, red Restaurant & Lounge, Siam Garden, Sugarush a Sweet Experience, Taste, Teak, The Bistro at Red Bank, The Cheese Cave, The Downtown, Tommy’s Coal Fired Pizza, Jamian’s, Sicilia Café, and Zebu Forno. 

 

During this  event visitors will see why Red Bank was recently ranked the third best small town in America by the Smithsonian Magazine. Red Bank flourishes with restaurants, lounges, shops, boutiques, theaters and cafes.  During the Food & Wine Walk patrons will be able to take in some shopping, making this a day in Red Bank.  This event is a great day trip for beachgoers and residents alike.
