Introducing the Glam Bar [Video]

Elio Ventrella shows off the Glam Bar and tells his story of finding inspiration from life's struggles.

When Elio Ventrella got sick, he got inspired. The owner of Red Bank's newest blowout bar, the Glam Bar, Ventrella is a breast cancer survivor. Though he often struggled with questions and doubts following his 2007 diagnosis and subsequent treatment, Ventrella learned from the process and now credits his resolve for helping form the Glam Bar.

What is a blowout bar, exactly? Well, it's not exactly a salon but not too dissimilar, either. Think of it as your night out hairdo center. Women attending special events, hitting the town for a night out, or simply looking to pamper themselves are able to select from a range of blowout designs and packages that include accessories and professionally done makeup.

The Glam Bar, located at 116 Broad St., is now open. For more information about the shop and what going GLAM can do for you, check out theGLAMbars.com. And be sure to check out the photo gallery of the Glam Bar's grand opening, .

As the owner of The Glam Bar, you would thing Elio Ventrella would strive to provide the best customer service possible in order to gain a wider customer base and instill professional values within the community. Unfortunately he is a novice in this field and often shows his lack of professionalism when dealing with his own clientele. I would be surprised if he makes it much longer given these methods of business.
