Morgan Stanley Expansion Well on its Way

Engineers for the expansion say everything is coming together as exactly as planned.

The expansion of 's Red Bank headquarters is well on its way with a connecting bridge joining the company's Broad Street facing building with its Linden Place building outlined in support steal.

Downtown Investors LLC, the owners of the Morgan Stanley building as well as several other properties on Linden Place earned variances from the Red Bank Zoning Board in January to add more than 7,000 square feet of office space and 50 additional parking spaces to be used by the financial institution giant.

The ground floor office expansion, , will add 4,368 square feet to the complex. The connecting bridge, which will also provide office space, adds approximately 2,750 square feet to the complex.

Though it's unclear exactly when the construction will be complete, an engineer on the site said that work is coming along smoothly and that mild winter weather has helped keep the project on schedule.
