Red Bank's Cool Little Tagline

Red Bank RiverCenter recently unveiled its new advertising slogan and marketing campaign.

Red Bank is a cool little town, officially.

Red Bank RiverCenter recently unveiled its new marketing campaign as well as its new slogan. Gone is "Only One Red Bank," replaced with a tag line that plays on the borough's past descriptions as Hip City and the SoHo of New Jersey. Now, Red Bank is "A Cool Little Town."

The new tag line is part of the marketing and downtown business promotion organization's new branding campaign that promotes Red Bank as a place to Escape for a Little While in new ads appearing in publications and public places around the state.

"This is an important step for us and a major undertaking that we're really excited about," Nancy Adams, executive director of Red Bank RiverCenter said in a release. "We have been utilizing the Only One branding for four years and felt it was time for a change."

In a new ad that appears in NJ Monthly, a fish bowl is presented without a fish in it, but rather a sign reading "Off to see a show," and a trail of water leading away from the bowl.

RiverCenter hired Spitball, a Red Bank-based marketing agency to come up with the ads and develop the new tag line.

The new logo and tag line will be used on all Red Bank materials immediately, according to a release.

“One of our main goal was to have a unified presentation for Red Bank,” Adams said in a release. “For too long we have had multiple identities and now we are rooted in ‘A Cool Little Town’. When people see our ads or other materials, they will instantly know that it is from Red Bank.”
