“The Power Panelist events are all about building momentum around what’s possible in your business and in your life," said Geigrich. "The mission in the creation of the Power Panelist Event Series is to broaden the cultural expansion and networking opportunities for all smart women.”

The first Power Panelist Event of 2013 brought together an engaging and varied group of women panelists that included entrepreneurs, corporate executives, attorneys, and non-profit leaders. Panelists shared how they transitioned their professional lives into other exciting ventures that serve others.

Over eighty attendees were given inspiring and motivational content delivered by a diverse line-up of life leaders. The event also provided a networking opportunity for women business owners to gain traction and support their businesses and each other.

Local businesses donated door prizes and give aways including a free month of yoga, restaurants gift certificates, and holistic healing sessions.

A portion of the proceeds supported the rebuilding efforts of local business woman Kelly Ryan, owner of The Boondocks Fishery in Red Bank, who suffered devastating damage to her restaurant during Hurricane Sandy.
