Jersey Shore Events This Weekend (Sep 28-30)
Events at the Jersey Shore this weekend include Middletown Day, the LBI Chowderfest, Italian Festival and monster trucks in Wildwood, and the Jersey Shore Half Marathon.
Fall has come to the shore, but there’s still lots of fun things to do. Here are some events you can enjoy this weekend around the Jersey Shore:
Saturday you can celebrate Middletown Day, 11am-6pm at Croydon Hall. The FREE fall festival boasts activities for all ages including car show, craft fair, live local music, tournaments, children’s activities and demonstrations; a petting zoo, hayrides, flea market, food court, and a business and community showcase.
Sunday it's the Jersey Shore Half Marathon at Sandy Hook, the 40th running of one of the oldest distance events held in the area. Starts at 9pm. Also a 5K at 9:05pm.

Long Beach Island will host the LBI Chowderfest at the Taylor Ave Ball Field. Saturday is Merchants Mart, don’t miss end of season blowout bargains from your favorite local shopkeepers! Outdoor food court, live music, and entertainment. Sunday – Chowder Cook-Off Classic, your favorite restaurants serving chowder under the big top. Unlimited tasting, live music, food and fun.

An Olde Time Italian Festival will take place at Fox Park in Wildwood Friday and Saturday. It’s an ‘Old World’ family festival weekend including crafts, games, rides, great Italian food and continuous FREE live entertainment.
And if you’re in Wildwood, you might also like the Wildwood Monster Truck Beach Bash. The thrill and exhilaration of monster truck racing will take place on the beach at Lincoln Avenue in Wildwood, Friday to Sunday! Will include Bigfoot, Viper, Instigator, XDP, Storm Damage, Hurricane Force, Backdraft, Eradicator, and Megasaurus.
Another fun event Saturday and Sunday is the Margate Fall Funfest. Free admission. Live bands, car show. Games, food, crafters, activities on Amherst Avenue from Decatur to Coolidge Aves.
