Business Owners Kick Off their Summer Plans at Red Bank Red Carpet Event

Jersey Shore Premiere Events organized the Jersey Shore Summer Kickoff Business Networking and Red Carpet Event, on June 11 at Buona Sera in Red Bank. The event was hosted by Rosa Davis and Chris Fotache and about 150 people attended, mostly local business owners, as well as some public officials. The goal of the event was to bring local entrepreneurs together in order to strengthen the local business community, as well as to support the American Diabetes Association.

Part of the proceeds benefited ADA’s Jersey Shore Tour de Cure, which will take place on September 21 in Asbury Park. The Tour is raising funds to prevent and cure diabetes, and to improve the lives of those living with diabetes every day. Krista Magid, Fundraising Manager for New Jersey, said: “The American Diabetes Association was honored to be a part of the Summer Kickoff event!  It was an exciting opportunity to get to know local business owners and to share the mission of the ADA while encouraging attendees to join Chris Fotache as he rides in the Jersey Shore Tour de Cure!  We are so grateful for the generosity of those who donated raffle items!” Companies that donated raffle prizes included The Jersey It Girl, Ingrained Cabinetry, The Real Estate Classified, Deanna Padovano Bikinis, Stella&Dot, It Works, Pour and Pedal, Isagenix, author Susan Korwin and many others.

Guests had lots of opportunities to take photos on the red carpet (provided by Victor Bubadias Photography), get interviewed about their business or cause by Melissa Maria (filmed by Mario Marcal Studios), try Buona Sera‘s lavish dinner buffet, enjoy the entertainment by Instinctive DJs, visit the vendor tables, and network with the other business owners. One of the vendors, Frank Musarra said: “I’ve attended a few Jersey Shore Premiere Networking events and each time I received great attention to my products.  More importantly, I was able to develop new relationships with many of the people who have attended!  I can highly recommend to any business person in the area that they attend these events!”

There were also many special guests gracing the red carpet. One of them was Susan Korwin, author of Simple Strides Toward Positive Change. “This event was incredible” Susan said afterwards. “The room was filled with smiling faces, all thrilled to be in attendance for this worthy cause of helping to find a cure for diabetes. It is a well-known fact that the act of helping others can create an improved sense of well-being. Knowing that you sacrificed something such as time, finances or property in order to help others in need can give you a sense of purpose in life or work and inner satisfaction. Chris and Rosa are sure to be holding their heads up high after this remarkable event. I was so thrilled to be there!”. Another guest, artist Alexandra Popescu-York came from New York City to exhibit a couple of her paintings from the Spring Extravaganza collection.

A few local public officials also came, to get the pulse of the business community. They included Senator Jennifer Beck, who represents Red Bank and surrounding towns in the State Senate, and Monmouth County Deputy Freeholder Director, Serena DiMaso. Everyone who attended the event had a good time and many people established new business connections. The Tour de Cure also got some good promotion and recruited a few more riders.
