For its 84th B-day, 7-Eleven is providing free Slurpees
The 7-Eleven franchise is celebrating the 84thanniversary of the chain by giving away free Slurpees today, July 11, 2011 (7/11/2011).
Customers are invited to receive a free, 7.11-ounce Slurpee at any , while supplies last, according to a release from the convenience store chain.
“7-Eleven Day and giving away free Slurpee beverages is our way of thanking customers for their patronage throughout the year and showing appreciation for their support,” said Jesus Delgado-Jenkins, a 7-Eleven vice president, in a release.

The chain gave out more than 5 million Slurpee drinks last year and hope to give out at least the same number this year, according to the release.
The lone 7-Eleven in Red Bank sits on Front Street, adjancent to the Red Bank Public Library.

There are three 7-Eleven locations in Middletown, two on Route 35 and one on Route 36.
