Hot Wheels on a Hot Day [Gallery]

More than 300 cars rolled into Red Bank for the annual Liberty Hose Car Show Sunday.

On a hot-as-blazes Sunday afternoon, more than 300 cars of the classic, muscle, and generally odd variety pulled into the White Street parking lot in Red Bank for the 10th annual  Car Show.

The show, which raises money for the Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department company's scholarship program, is in honor of former fire chief Bob "Doc" Holiday, an avid car collector whose family is still involved with the fire department and the car show.

Though the exact number of participating vehicles was not immediately known, the more than 300 estimation puts it some where in the ballpark of last year's approximately , a record at the time. Classic cruisers from the 1950's were parked next to 1970's-era muscle cars with some modern classics filling out the rest of the parking lot. A few oddities were on display, too, including a DeLorean tricked out to look like Doc Brown's time machine, and an electric car - an old electric car.
