Liberty Car Show Returns this Weekend

The annual Red Bank car show, now in its 10th year, is set for this weekend.

Get excited car enthusiasts, the annual Liberty Hose 94 car show returns this weekend.

Now in its 10th year, the car show, held on White Street and in the adjacent White Street parking lot, and motorcycles, ranging from 1970's-era muscle cars to as far back as the 100-year-old steam car-last year's show to be exact.

Last year the show featured 350 classic cars and motorcycles, a record at the time.

The show, hosted by the Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department's Liberty Hose 94, is held each year in honor of former fire chief Bob "Doc" Holiday, also an avid classic car collector.  

Participants are eligible to win one of more than 100 trophies ranging from two to four feet tall. The Holiday Memorial Trophy is also awarded.

Each year proceeds from the event help fund the Liberty Hose’s scholarship program.

The show is being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features a DJ and food. The event is free to visitors. Participants are required to pay a registration fee, $12 prior to the show, $15 on the day of the show, and $10 for motorcycles.
