Rain to Give Way to Bright Fall Weekend (Hopefully)

With rain expected all day Wednesday and Thursday, those in the Greater Red Bank area should look forward to this weekend.

 

It’s raining.

If you hadn’t noticed, of course, we’re always here to help you. In addition to very informative posts, like this one, you can always check out the little weather thingy at the top of every Patch page for information on the weather. They say knowing is half the battle, so when you prepare to face the day, don’t ever skip out on taking a second look at what we have to offer.

Late Wednesday afternoon we camped out at a . Afraid to face the rain, we snapped some photos of those braver than us walking up and down Broad Street, or sometimes taking a break under an awning. Eventually, we were forced to leave dry land. We’re happy to report that we did not melt.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected to continue throughout the day, into the evening and most of the day Thursday. Luckily, the same weather service reports a beautiful fall weekend, with lots of sunshine and temperatures ranging from the mid 50’s to the low 60’s.
