Social Media Sound-off on Earthquake

Local Red Bank businesses and organizations flood Facebook with post-Earthquake comments.

While some chose to call the police or fire department, or chat with their neighbors about what just happened, or just squeeze their toes into the grass in relief on the now-still ground, the response for some Red Bank businesses and organizations to e was to log on to Facebook.

Whether posting a question, looking for confirmation that, yes, this really did just happen, or using the opportunity to advertise impromptu earthquake specials, several businesses and organizations took advantage of social media to get the word out, have some fun, or try and make a buck.

Good thinking.
